We are seeking a technically skilled Data Analyst with a keen focus on geography data and mapping geo spatial concepts across data sets. The primary purpose of the role is to support the review, development, and delivery of spatial data, analysis, and applications used by internal/external customers and stakeholders in the pharmaceutical industry. Manage enterprise geodatabases to support spatial databases, data governance and operations. This role is pivotal to our operational department and involves the following responsibilities:
You will be exposed to a diverse range of data across the healthcare Industry from pharmacies, hospitals, to medical centres. This includes managing critical details such as names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, x and y coordinates or customed geography concepts.
The ability to collaborate and communicate efficiently is also key as part of this role considering the spatial data are used across the business as a point of reference to report pharmaceutical sales data within production team, technology team, data science team, consulting team and by most of IQVIA's clients.
Our ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, with the ability to manipulate and analyse data using Python and SQL would be advantageous.
A key aspect of this role is a strong understanding of geography data in Australia and New Zealand in relation to the Healthcare Industry. You will be expected to utilise this knowledge in the mapping and analysis of data sets. Our clients value this service, as we specialise in providing expert geography data sets. The successful candidate will be immediately involved in a core project.
While healthcare knowledge is beneficial, technical skills are paramount for this role. Your ability to manipulate data effectively from the outset is essential.

Qualifications: Bachelor of pharmacy or Medical/technology Data science or equivalent
Technical Skills: Familiarity with Python and SQL
Conceptual understanding, proficient in mapping data concepts
