Our capabilities and experience include the design, manufacture, installation, commissioning, repair, testing and service (whether routine or emergency) of business-critical power generation and electric motor products including a fully fitted workshop with skilled mechanical and electrical staff.ABOUT THE ROLEReporting to the Business Unit Manager - Generator Projects and Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing the scheduling, supervision and coordination of work in the Generator Project and Electrical Service Team. You will be the single point contact for clients including after-hours support and be able to demonstrate excellent priority management, planning, communication and relationship building skills. Being electrical trade qualified and having worked in the field, along with previous scheduling experience is essential.As the Generator Service Co-Ordinator, you are also responsible for promoting a strong safety and service focus. You will be responsible for ensuring all team members work within our Safety and Compliance Framework and promote this across both inside and outside Kenshaw.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEDemonstrated experience in the following:Thorough knowledge of generators and associated automatic switch gearPrevious experience in quoting repairs relating to generators both electrical and mechanicalWrite and provide generator condition reportsAbility to communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholdersCoordination of workers and customers in a professional and timely manner- scheduling on / off siteReview of worksheets, reports and other documentationLiaise with customers and clients and provide solutions to their problemsLead safety talks and promote a safety-first culture through our policies and proceduresAbility to use multiple software programs including Microsoft suiteABOUT YOUThe role is suited to those people who have worked in the field and are ready to take the next step in their career.
