Generalist Human Resources Business Partner

Description The purpose of the Human Resources Business Partner is to act as a business partner to key client groups in a generalist Human Resources capacity.
The position is also a key subject matter expert for safety and recruitment.
The position provides HR guidance and support to employees within key client groups including but not limited to:

Generalist Human Resources Manage all first line HR queries and employment relations cases and refer to the Human Resources Manage all first line policy and human resources queries for your client groups Administer contracts and change letters for client groups Maintain employee records and administration for your designated client groups Provide operational support on human resources systems and processes to your client groups Attend regular meetings with your client groups Executive Leaders and Senior Management

Recruitment Provide end-to-end recruitment services for all client groups Process police checks for recruitment services Administer all employment contracts for all new onboards and enter details into the HRIS Support Managers to submit recruitment approval

Work, Health and Safety Co-chair the monthly WHS committee meetings Work in collaboration with the P&C Coordinator to create the WHS meeting agenda and publish meeting minutes Manage all workers compensation cases nationally Project manage work, health and safety programs of work in consultation with the WHS committee and Executive Director, People and Culture Manage the WHS Audit action plan and implement corrective actions

Profile Undergraduate degree in Business or HR related discipline (or) Equivalent relevant working experience Return to work certificate (Experience managing workers compensation claims)
