We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled General Practitioner to join a committed primary healthcare team on a full-time basis. This position is open to candidates who hold a specialist overseas qualification recognised by the RACGP or ACRRM.
As a General Practitioner in Kingaroy, you will be responsible for providing high-quality primary healthcare services to our patients. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and holistic care to our diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities:

Conducting consultations and physical examinations to diagnose and treat patients
Prescribing medications and providing appropriate medical advice
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
Referring patients to specialists when necessary
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
Participating in team meetings and case discussions
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care
Staying updated on the latest medical developments and guidelines
Educating patients on preventive healthcare measures and promoting healthy lifestyle choices
Adhering to ethical and professional standards of practice

Requirements:

Medical degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or the ability to gain it
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to healthcare
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
