This medical practice seeks a full-time GP holding general registration or who is eligible for limited registration on a training program. The clinic is a well-established, independent practice with a friendly team and existing patient base. The practice team comprises 2 GPs, full-time practice nursing support, visiting allied health services and an effective admin team. Billing is mixed and at doctors' discretion.
Position Description:
Childers Medical Centre seeks a full-time, collegial GP holding general registration or who is eligible for limited registration on a training program, to provide primary continuing healthcare services to patients, families and their local community.
The position requires the GP to have the necessary clinical skills to effectively assess patients' medical conditions and provide appropriate investigations, procedures, other treatment and/or referral to allied health, community health professionals or specialist consultation to affect the best possible outcome for the patient. Adhering to RACGP standards for clinical practice, the general practitioner should provide a complete service using recall and reminder systems, education, prevention initiatives and ensuring continuity of care. They should comply with their continuing professional development obligations and be willing to participate in and contribute to practice based CPD, training and upskilling sessions.
Qualifications & Experience: Accredited by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);Holds a fellowship with either the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) - or is on a training pathway to achieve this.This opportunity would suit a GP who is interested in providing high quality primary care to a small, rural community.Job Type: Permanent

Salary Information: Percentage of Billings – 70% for vocationally registered doctors; 65% for experienced doctors who require additional levels of support and supervision. Income potential is dependent on hours worked, but could equate in the order of $300k per annum for a doctor.
