About the Opportunity Based in Osborne (SA), you will be reporting to the Program Director Collins Class Submarine (CCSM), working closely with the General Manager (GM) Operations Execution, GM Multi Class Sustainment (MCS) Project Management Office (PMO), GM MCS Class Services and Head of Project Delivery SSN Sustainment, the GM Program Delivery is accountable for ensuring the effective planning, execution and close out of all CCSM Program Maintenance availabilities in South Australia and Western Australia, and Operational Period Maintenance (OPM) in domestic and international ports as required. You are accountable for ensuing the effective planning, implementation and close out of all CCSM Program updates and upgrades and ensuring all the above are managed in accordance with ASC project management practices including detailed management of scope, schedule, cost and risk.
Responsibilities Provide direct leadership to the Head of Delivery (SA), Head of Delivery (WA) and the Head of Upgrades and Updates Develop and maintain CCSM WBS in consultation with the MCS PMO team Develop and maintain the CCSM Master Schedules in line with the High-Level Work Plan (HLWP) Maintain a resource demand projection and identify and communicate resourcing/ workforce requirements to MCS PMO Develop and maintain the cost baseline for Maintenance Availabilities Oversee management of monthly internal and external reporting and variance analysis Ensure risks to Program delivery are continually reviewed and managed to closure by project owners About you Tertiary qualification in Project Management, engineering, business, management or related field Advanced skills and experience in the full range of project management services Minimum 10 years' experience in a senior project management/planning role, preferably in Defence /shipbuilding sector Strong proficiency in sustainment including FCD, MCD, ID, SMP and IMP Demonstrated ability to plan large scale complex projects in the maritime industry Demonstrated ability to identify and implement interventions and high-quality solutions to complex problems Eligibility This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
