This role is culturally and strategically very important for the club, as it enters a new growth phase, with a large development plan in place to incorporate world-class sporting and fitness facilities.
This business is very much about people with many of the team having great retention, especially the senior management.
Their core business is F&B, but they have financial streams in accommodation, entertainment, sports, gym, and corporate events.
The Role
Reporting to CEO and COO, this person will redefine the P&C department for the growth phase while shaping the next generation of talent.
Lead and implement strategies that enhance team culture, employee retention, satisfaction, and engagement.
Act as a mentor, guiding and developing staff at all levels to ensure a positive and inclusive work environment.
Implement a successful succession plan for all management levels.
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training programs to ensure we attract and retain top talent.
Foster open communication, and address challenges with a solution-oriented mindset.
Design and lead initiatives that support professional growth, diversity, and employee well-being.
Work closely with leadership to align the company's values with business goals, creating an environment where people love to work.
Requirements Proven leadership experience in a similar role, ideally in hospitality, retail, or customer-centric industries.
A passion for people, diversity, and creating an inclusive workplace.
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and team-building skills.
Strong strategic thinking with the ability to execute culture-focused initiatives.
Demonstrated success in employee development, training, and retention.
