Deep knowledge and demonstrated experience of leading strategic projects across a complex and fast-paced business. Experience leading an Enterprise Project Management Office ideally within a telco or technology function. Expertise of best practice and industry-leading project management methodologies and principles including agile delivery. Demonstrated experience of strong leadership and influencing skills at a senior level. Experience in process/systems improvement. Demonstrated ability to solve problems and think like a leader whilst working as part of a team. Work independently and as part of a team.
How will you support our "Why?" As our General Manager, EPMO, you will lead the development and execution of Aussie Broadband's strategic projects to deliver growth in revenue and profitability. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing the PMO strategy in alignment with organisational goals. Ensuring project portfolios are aligned with the strategic objectives of the organisation. Overseeing the delivery of projects from design to implementation across all business areas, ensuring completion within timescales and budget. Leading the recently uplifted EPMO team, embedding the ways of working at Aussie Broadband and providing leadership across strategic planning, prioritisation and reporting framework to ensure the organisation meets our breakthrough goals. Establishing and enforcing project management standards, processes, and methodologies. Implementing project governance structures and ensuring compliance with project management standards. Providing oversight and support for major projects and programs. Overseeing the project portfolio to ensure projects are prioritised and resourced effectively. Monitoring project performance, tracking key metrics, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Developing and maintaining a resource management plan to address capacity and skill gaps. Leading, mentoring, and developing the PMO team, promoting continuous improvement and professional development. Creating an environment that supports the development, launch, and maintenance of innovative products and services. Participating actively in the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to achieve collective objectives and collaborate across teams. Preparing and presenting reports on project and PMO performance to ELT.
