After 40 years, Triple M continues to be one of Australia's best-known radio entertainment brands and the only radio network that provides its listeners with a unique combination of Rock's Greatest Hits, Sport and Comedy.
The Hit Network is Australia's biggest radio network which entertains over 4.8 million Aussie radio listeners across B105, 2Day, The Fox, SAFM, MIX, 41 Hit stations plus DAB+ stations. Home to popular personalities including Fifi Box, Ed Kavalee, Dave Hughes, Carrie Bickmore, Tommy Little & Erin Molan.

This role will lead, coach and develop all Managers and teams within Townsville, as well as having direct responsibility for key strategic decisions that will optimise sales, content, promotions, PR, partnerships, risk management, HR, security, finance controls, OHS, and CAPEX. The General Manager will drive the strategic direction of the company and maximize profitability at the local level to achieve optimal business results, while fostering a positive and supportive organisational culture that incorporating the SCA values.
What you'll be doing: Maximise the profitability of the Townsville market through the strategic and effective management of all resources under your control.Ensure local initiatives align with National objectives to contribute to the overall success of the business. Provide leadership, insights, and commitment to understanding and building positive culture in work teams consistent with SCA values.Proactively coach, develop and mentor teams and Managers across the Townsville market to ensure the execution of the SCA corporate strategy at the local level.In conjunction with the HOS, oversee budget achievement for the Sales team through directing, guiding, and supporting Managers and Account Managers. Promote a positive and inclusive local culture and ensure all people matters are addressed promptly and in line with best practice and the SCA values.Experience we're looking for: Possess attributes such as high levels of energy, EQ, humility, authenticity, and transparency.Be financially and commercially literate, driven, and focused.Possess consolidated experience as a people leader, with a strong track record of successfully managing large, diverse teams in a commercial environment.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate teams and individuals to consistently perform at high levels.Proven change management skills and the ability to reinforce reasons for and success of change with all reports.Strong strategic vision and the ability to use financial and business information to inform decisions and implement strategic initiatives.The ability to rapidly build trust and rapport with external stakeholders, with a passion for local industry and community within your market.
