This permanent, full-time position is based in their thriving office located just 10 minutes from Newcastle CBD, offering the convenience of free parking and an easy commute.

Role Overview: The General Manager will play a critical role in both strategic decision-making and the day-to-day operations of the firm.
This role is well-suited to an individual with significant experience in general management within a legal environment.

Key Responsibilities: Human Resources Management: Oversee recruitment, staff attraction, mentoring, performance, and team management to maintain and enhance the firm's warm, inviting, and supportive culture.
Financial Management: Take responsibility for monthly financial reporting, budget setting, compliance monitoring, and ensuring fiscal responsibility and transparency.
Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the firm's strategic planning and execution, driving growth and operational excellence.
Operations Oversight: Manage a variety of administrative and operational tasks essential to the smooth functioning of the firm.
Marketing Oversight: Oversee the implementation of the firm's marketing initiatives by working with in-house staff and external marketing consultants to achieve the firm's goals.
Ideal Candidate Profile: Experience: Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a law firm .
Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of fostering strong relationships within the firm.
Proactive and Forward-Thinking: Ability to anticipate needs and proactively address them.
Integrity and Dependability: High level of trustworthiness and reliability.
Flexibility and Adaptability: Comfortable managing diverse tasks and adapting to changing priorities.
Human Resources and Accounts Skills: This role involves both people management and accounting support, so strong skills in both areas are essential.
