Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the General Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the organisation while providing essential support to the board of directors. Including operational and financial performance across community care, specifically HCP and NDIS programs. Driving business growth and opportunities through expertise marketing and networking.
Key Responsibilities: An experienced and confident Home Care Manager with a proven track record in management and business development. Other key criteria are:
Identify and mitigate risks to the organisation's operations and financial stability.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the board, facilitating communication, and providing administrative support.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, as they relate to Homecare and NDIS programs.
Implement strategic plans and objectives in collaboration with the board of directors.
Strong business/commercial acumen - Ability to monitor and report on financial and operational objectives
Monitor and evaluate the quality of care services and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field
Proven experience in a management role within the healthcare or homecare industry.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in homecare services.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve goals and objectives.
Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
