About the role As the General Manager with the Northeast Auto Group, you will oversee the daily operations across Sales, Service and Parts within the dealership.
With a comprehensive understanding of the combined responsibilities in all areas, you will be responsible for developing strategies for ensuring continued successful community engagement, brand recognition and the ongoing success and growth of this busy Adelaide dealership.
Joining our Hampstead Gardens location allows you to become part of an established team and begin working towards the greater goals of both the dealership and The Business.
This role reports directly to the Group General Manager and is vital to the business' strategic plan for growth.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for both New and Used Vehicles.
Lead the sales team, provide coaching and support to enhance performance.
Develop and foster relationships with customers to ensure a positive buying experience.
Ensure all concerns are addressed in a timely and personal manner.
Analyse market and competitor trends to identify opportunities for business growth.
Oversee service department and ensure high-quality repairs and maintenance.
Manage the service team, and provide training and support to ensure high performance.
Monitor KPI's across departments for Sales, Service and Parts to drive performance improvements.
Manage the branch budget, including sales revenue and service profitability to ensure overall financial growth.
Develop long-term strategies that align with sales, service and business goals.
About you Strong Leadership and people management skills with the ability to guide teams across multiple departments (essential).
Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior role within the automotive industry (desirable).
In-depth understanding of automotive products, service and market trends (desirable).
A commitment to delivering top-tier customer service in both sales and service contexts.
Ability to analyse data to make informed business decisions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with customers and staff.
This position requires a balance of sales and service experience along with strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
