Its mission is to drive the growth and development of this sporting code, ensuring it remains inclusive, exciting, and accessible to all.In the lead-up to hosting a high-profile tournament, this fixed-term contract (to June 2026) requires the General Manager Finance to play a critical role in the tournament's success by partnering with the COO and CEO while overseeing finance, procurement, and IT.Key Responsibilities:Establish Financial Controls & Reporting: Set up financial processes, oversee month-end reporting, and manage financial reporting obligations.Finance Business Partnering: Lead the finance team, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making for the tournament.Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with the leadership team and CFO to refine the budget, prepare rolling forecasts, and maintain agility in financial planning.Lead Procurement and IT: Lead the team and oversee processes for procurement and IT.Key Criteria:CA/CPA qualified.Adaptable – ability to be hands-on but can quickly move to Executive discussions.Pragmatic – able to get things done and influence a wide set of stakeholders.Previous business stand-up or project management experience, establishing new systems & processes.Previous cross-functional leadership experience (Finance, Ops / Procurement, and IT).Energetic – drive a project from start to finish.Does this sound like you?
