The Role: The General Manager, Embedded Networks & Generation (Innogen) is responsible for the procurement and management of GPT's Utilities contracts, strategic direction, management and growth of GPT's Embedded Network business, ensuring compliance and regulatory adherence. This role includes P&L management, ensuring financial performance aligns with the business unit growth strategy, and delivering innovative solutions to exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities: Managing all aspects of the Innogen business, including regulatory compliance and financial functions (budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and debt management).Overseeing customer sign-ups, monthly billing processes, accounts receivable, debtor management, and customer inquiries.Contributing to the continuous improvement of our Environmental Management System certification.Innovating and managing operational needs and procedures across the Innogen business.Supporting the development and roll-out of performance analytics tools and platforms.Managing direct reports who assist in administration, accounts, and customer management.What Makes You Stand Out: You will have prior embedded networks experience and a deep understanding of the national energy market, along with knowledge of regulatory requirements for embedded networks. Knowledge of solar PV systems, large scale generation certificates, and Clean Energy Regulator requirements is essential. You will be solutions-focused, capable of nurturing long-term customer relationships, and able to contribute to both strategic direction and operational requirements.
