Ltd, we have branches in Western Australia, South Australia, and Queensland.The OpportunityReporting to the EGM/MD, Australia, you will be responsible for all day-to-day operational aspects of this high performing Australian division as well as driving global expansion of the business line. Working within a matrix structure, you will lead a combined operational team with a headcount of 120 across Australia and North America. Key focus for this role will be ensuring best practice health and safety outcomes, driving performance and continuous growth, and leading culture and employee engagement.Duties & ResponsibilitiesReporting to the EGM & MD, Australia, your main responsibilities will include:Deliver financial returns while adhering to corporate policies and procedures.Ensure zero harm to all employees, stakeholders, community, Company, and the environment.Manage all aspects of the division in Australia and support global growth through communication and collaboration.Lead global expansion of the division through coordination of communication, resources, strategy and growth activities with regional and international stakeholders.Continually develop, implement, and maintain strategies that are aligned to the Company's vision, values and strategic direction and implement robust operational planning to meet objectives.Set divisional targets and KPIs, and implement strategies to achieve.Recommend acquisition targets, areas and industries for growth and develop strategies to support through to action.Communicate the Divisions' strategic vision throughout the organization.Motivate, lead and mentor a high performing management team.Ensure effective systems and controls are in place to identify and manage business risks, in Australia and globally.Work with Finance team to prepare annual sales, operating and capex budgets.Actively engage and contribute to the Health and Safety Australian GM committee.Initiate, develop and maintain relationships with strategic clients, customers, suppliers and sub-contractors.Attend regular meetings and report on performance, progress toward targets, and any issues which require escalation.Participate as a member of the Australian Executive Leadership Team.About YouTo be considered for this position you will ideally have:Minimum 10 years' experience as an Executive Manager in mining, engineering or equipment environment.Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Engineering or related discipline.Exposure to and demonstrated understanding of the complexities of managing a mixed mode manufacturing and service business.Proactive, hands-on and empowering leadership style.Commitment to safety and environment, quality, and operational excellence.High level of commercial acumen.Established network of relevant clients and suppliers.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills including highly developed written and verbal skills.Equipment maintenance experience, as well as overall knowledge of mobile mining equipment.By joining our friendly and supportive team you'll benefit from the following:Competitive remuneration package including performance incentives.Flexible work options to support work-life balance, additional paid time off, and parental leave supplement.Investment in employee health & wellbeing including trained Mental Health First Aiders on all sites and free and confidential access to our Employee Assistance Program.Service recognition including a paid day off during the month of your yearly anniversary with H-E Parts and awards for significant milestones.
