City employees enjoy a work environment that encourages professional development and promotes a healthy work-life balance.About this positionThe City of Gosnells Engineering Services Team is offering an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified, experienced and self-motivated individual to carry out road, path repairs and broad maintenance of the City's pedestrian and road network safely and to a high standard. This is a permanent position based at the City's Operations Centre in Maddington.What we are looking forTo be successful, you must be able to demonstrate:Relevant industry experience.Proficiency with the safe operation of a front-end loader and skid steer.Strong work ethic and positive attitude.Sound knowledge of civil infrastructure construction and maintenance practices.Sound knowledge of engineering maintenance techniques.Ability to read plans and calculate quantities to order materials.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Experience in the use of pressure cleaners, sweepers, concrete grinding equipment and various plant will be highly regarded.Current MR driver's licence.White Card.Current National Police clearance (less than three months old).
