And as we grow and deliver that pipeline of projects in the coming years, we will continue to serve our communities and deliver the power that Queensland needs.About the roleThis is a full-time permanent opportunity located in Brisbane CBD.Stanwell is in the process of developing a suite of firming assets including storage, pumped hydro and gas assets and is currently developing a globally significant hydrogen project in Gladstone, the Central Queensland Hydrogen Project.
To complement this portfolio, Stanwell is working with new and innovative technologies that will help us develop more efficient and competitive ways to meet our transition targets while supporting local manufacturing opportunities.
To test and help commercialise these new technologies while also providing a location to train our people on these new technologies, Stanwell has created the Future Energy Innovation and Training Hub (FEITH) at our Stanwell Power Station in Rockhampton.Key activities include:Originate and develop a pipeline of new innovative technology projects for the FEITH and Stanwell more broadly.Build a Future Energy Innovation commercial team to provide specialist project management for key project evaluation and development for a diverse range of FEITH and Innovation projects.Collaborate with the FEITH, Future Energy Origination, the Hydrogen Development and the Strategic Partnerships teams to originate and evaluate future FEITH and other new technology projects.Manage key stakeholder relationships with project partners, internal stakeholders, and Stanwell's Board of Directors.Provide leadership to peers/project team members to guide and motivate.About youExtensive industry experience with demonstrated project and commercial management experience in a commercial environment.Experience in leading and developing a diverse, multi-disciplinary team to deliver commercial outcomes.Exceptional effectiveness in the successful control and delivery of multiple, concurrent and competing projects/tasks/activities with positive cost, schedule, safety, environmental, quality and industrial relations outcomes.Capacity to be flexible, adaptive, innovative and capable of multi-dimensional strategic analysis and tasking.Tertiary qualification in Economics, Commerce, Finance or Engineering.Benefits:12.75% employer contribution to superannuationAccess to Bright Spark – our rewards, recognition and discounts platformWeekly payContributions for IP/TPD insurance unitsFlexible work arrangementsCentrally located in Brisbane CBDIncentive schemeHealth and wellbeing initiatives (e.g.
