Fund Finance Manager

Our client, a global financial services group with a focus on Alternative Investments, is looking to recruit a Finance Manager. Based in their Sydney CBD office, we are seeking a suitably experienced Finance Manager to operate in partnership with the Leadership team & Asset Managers.

You will report directly to the VP Finance and have responsibility for the review of all finance reporting and oversight of property and fund accounting requirements for clients.

This is a newly created role within the organisation, providing an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior management and join this established market leader, with deep-rooted connections across the market.

Key responsibilities will include: Private Equity Fund Accounting review;Financial analysis and reporting;Managing the annual budgeting process;Managing the monthly re-forecasting and reporting processes including variance analysis;Constructing financial models and tools for management decisions and controls;Assisting with financial modelling and analysis on property acquisitions;Liaise with external auditors and tax accountants regarding the preparation of tax returns;Skills and experience: Private Equity and/or Fund accounting experience (essential);Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally CA / CPA qualified along with relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting;Strong experience in analysis and reporting;Working knowledge of accounting standards and regulations, legislation, and management accounting techniques;Demonstrated high level of organisational skill and ability to work under pressure, to deadlines;Previous fund accounting experience preferred.
You will have a solid background in financial services, PE and/or Infrastructure/Real Estate and be confident in a senior review role with the ability to multitask across a range of duties. You will also have the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with Executive, Property Management, Custodians, Board, and Investors. #J-18808-Ljbffr
