ABOUT THE ROLE We are on the lookout for an experienced Sales Consultant to take on the Full-time Sales Assistant position at our Carousel store! Acting as 2IC and supporting the Store Manager, you will cultivate a vibrant and positive team environment where AMAZING customer service is a priority, driving the store's financial performance to smash budgets and targets. You will promote strong leadership by providing effective training, managing daily in-store operations, overseeing visual merchandising, and leading by example to ensure clear in-store execution of the business' strategies, visions, values, and guidelines.
With a focus on improving the in-store experience, you need to ensure consistent provision of expert service, develop strong product knowledge to assist in training the team, and maintain the store and the team's well-being, including managing stock levels and high visual merchandising appeal in line with company guidelines. You will also take ownership of health and safety in the store.
When required, you will assist your Regional Manager during the Store Manager's absence in preparing and managing staff rosters, aligning with sales achievement, stock, and expense control management. You should have experience in recruiting and attracting the right talent to nurture, retain, and develop them into leadership roles.
ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role, you will be the leading ambassador of our brand, modeling Ally Fashion values of Customer Centric, Achieving Excellence, Displaying Honesty, and Forever Evolving while having a genuine passion for mentoring others! You will be flexible to work a rotational weekend roster including late-night trade, have solid experience in assisting store management in a fast-paced retail environment (preferably fashion), and be a high achiever in performance and sales delivery, along with strong interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder expectations and relationships.
