About the Company Our client manufactures and installs fluid power systems and solutions for all applications anywhere in Australia and the Asia Pacific region. With a strong focus on safety, they are an employer of choice.
About the Role The Hydraulic Service Technician will be based at the workshop facility in Perth. There will be involvement of onsite repairs, servicing, and maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication equipment. A significant amount of the work will involve mine shutdown work in the Pilbara with penalties and extra daily rates for working away.
Key Responsibilities for the Role Diagnose, repair, maintain, and install hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication equipment. Assist to provide estimates, options, and improvements to clients. Mine shutdown work pertaining to hydraulics and lubrication. Assist and support other trades as required. Accurately record and document processes, maintenance, and activities. Achieve team targets in an efficient and cooperative manner. Skills & Experience Trade certificate in Mechanical Engineering (Fitting). Tertiary training in Fluid Power. Solid experience working in the hydraulic industry and providing fluid power solutions on industrial and mining equipment. Good written and oral communication skills. Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team. Assist, train, and develop other trade personnel. Culture If you are looking for a long-lasting career, look no further! Benefits Excellent remuneration commensurate with your experience. Professional and safe working environment with a positive teamwork culture. $40 to $45 per hour plus penalties, Super, and extra daily rate when out on site.
