What's the job? We are looking for a new Senior Structural Engineer to join our Building Structures practice in either our Sydney or Newcastle offices. You will be a vital part of the team who are changing the way we design and deliver major works to be carbon neutral and sustainable. Your role will include:
Being the face of Aurecon to our chosen clients. Leading and being a part of teams that undertake and perform design and analysis of concrete/steel building structures of a bespoke and diverse nature. Assisting in the supervision and guidance of younger engineers and overseeing design calculations and details of the other engineers and drafters. Delivering design documentation including drawings, specifications, and reports. Providing construction-phase support on a wide array of projects. What are we looking for from you? With at least 5 years' experience in a Structural Engineer role, the ideal candidate will possess the following:
A relevant tertiary degree, such as a bachelor's in civil engineering. Experience working on large-scale multi-disciplinary projects, with a focus on Building Structures. Experience in the Commercial, Health, or Education sector will be valued. Strong technical skills in complex structural analysis for bespoke structural designs.
