Job DescriptionNRMA Ocean Beach Holiday Resort is located just north of Sydney but is a world away, on the picturesque Central Coast at Umina Beach.
We offer an extensive range of camp/caravan sites and accommodation options, from beachfront townhouses, to safari tents and our stylish glamtainers!
Nestled between the bush and absolute beachfront, we offer a multitude of facilities for the young and young at heart; resort style pools, a splash park, kids club including the Bear Grylls Survival Academy and an onsite café.
We pride ourselves on our stand out guest service and ensuring our guests have the most memorable holiday experience.
What you'll do: Reporting to the General Manager, you will form and play an integral part in our Head of Department structure.
You will ensure the highest possible standards of efficiency and professionalism in the Front Office / Guest Services department.
You will lead by example and your hard work and passion will be rewarded with plenty of responsibility and a real opportunity to shine!
You will assist in providing managerial oversight and daily coordination to the front office team; from task allocation to team rosters and an escalation point for guest or team queries.
You will ensure effective communication and liaison with other departments and Resort Management, to guarantee a smooth operation.
What you'll bring: A reputation for providing excellent customer service, with a genuine interest in engaging great conversation with our guestsProven experience in leading and managing teams with a customer service focus – hospitality/tourism industry will be highly regardedEffective time management and an eye for detailPassionate and team-oriented with a "lead from the front" mentalityFlexible attitude to work hours over a 7 day roster, including weekends and public holidays as requiredCRM system experience not essential but highly regarded (Newbook and/or RMS)What's in it for you?
