Are you passionate about hospitality and eager to advance your career? Abbey Beach Resort is looking for a dynamic Front Office Manager to join our vibrant team!
In this role, you will lead and inspire the front office team to deliver exceptional customer service. You will oversee and coordinate all front office activities, ensuring a seamless and outstanding guest experience.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily activities at the front desk, ensuring smooth check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries. Hire, train, and schedule front office staff; provide ongoing coaching and performance evaluations. Address guest complaints and concerns promptly; strive to enhance guest satisfaction and resolve issues effectively. Manage room bookings, track availability, and optimize room occupancy to maximize revenue. Assist in budget planning and control expenses related to front office operations. Maintain adherence to hotel policies, procedures, and standards, including safety and security protocols. Facilitate communication between front office and other hotel departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance. Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for the front office to ensure consistency and efficiency. Oversee billing, invoicing, and cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation. Promote special offers, packages, and hotel services to guests; collaborate with the marketing team as needed. Ensure the front office systems and equipment are functioning correctly and manage software updates or troubleshooting. Generate reports on occupancy, guest feedback, and other key performance indicators for management review. Monitor and ensure guest security and emergency response protocols are followed. Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork among front office staff. Skills & Attributes: Good leadership and delegation capability. Is a recognised people person. The ability to have constructive and supportive performance discussions. Excellent communication skills and time management skills. Ability to use initiative and be proactive. Good problem solving and decision-making skills. Proven ability to work to deadlines and in a demanding environment. Sound skills in Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel and Outlook. Qualifications: In the absence of qualification at least three years of relevant experience is required. 2-3 years' experience in a similar role.
