Our client is seeking a talented and motivated FP&A Manager to lead our Financial Planning and Analysis team, driving strategic insights, financial reporting, and performance analysis across the business. You will have the opportunity to mentor a talented finance team and make a significant impact on the financial direction of the business.

Role
As the FP&A Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Finance. You will have 4 direct reports including two Analysts and two Accountants. This role will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the organisation. You will collaborate closely with key cross-functional teams including Sales, Category, Marketing and Distribution to ensure effective budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring.

You will also play a key role in providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership and functional teams, supporting critical business decisions.

Some Responsibilities Will Include Financial Reporting & Analysis: Lead the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including variance analysis, KPIs, and financial performance metrics. Oversee the development of annual budgets and monthly forecasts in alignment with company objectives.Commercial Support for Functional Teams: Provide financial analysis and support to cross-functional teams, assisting with decision-making on key business initiatives such as revenue, margins, working capital, and investments. Develop business cases for capital expenditure, M&A, and strategic projects.Governance & Process Improvement: Ensure high standards of governance and data integrity in financial reporting. Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure month-end and year-end processes are completed accurately and on time. Continuously seek process improvements and automation using financial reporting tools.Skills, Knowledge & Experience Minimum QualificationsA degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field.CA/CPA qualification.ExperienceA minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar FP&A role, with a proven track record of leadership and team management.Strong understanding of financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes.Experience in managing budgets and forecasts, and providing business insights to senior leaders.Proficiency in financial reporting tools and business intelligence software (SAP, TM1, Power BI, BW, One Stream experience preferred).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
