Urbis, Shaping futures your way! The Opportunity: Urbis has an exciting opportunity for a FP&A Analyst to join our team in Melbourne!
In this role you support the Financial Planning & Analysis team to provide expert guidance delivering continuous enhancements across all finance systems. You will support the FP&A team with developing business insights and preparing monthly management account reporting, as well as assisting with the preparation and execution of the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
You will: Support the FP&A team in preparing, improving, and successfully delivering annual FP&A processes, including cost rates, budgeting, forecasting, and WIP/debtor confirmations. Support the Commercial Managers with maintaining and updating changes to Staff budgets, bill rates and cost rates. Support Senior Business Analysts with Business Services reporting and strategic business initiatives. Maintain PowerBI Dashboards, updating schedules, workflows and user permissions. Identify finance systems improvements in consultation with the FP&A and FA&C teams and Commercial Managers. Provide support on a range of business systems projects, designed to increase revenue, reduce expenses, enhance business efficiency, automation and improve customer experience. Act as the business application owner responsible for the effective operations of the finance applications. Prepare online how-to guides with Business Users and Team Administration staff. About you: Tertiary qualifications (bachelor's level minimum) in Finance, Accounting or a similar field. Minimum 2 years' experience in a Finance or Accounting role required (prior experience in an Accounting, FP&A, FP&A Analyst or Applications Support Analyst position ideally). CPA/CA qualifications (or formally being undertaken) is desirable. Experience managing and improving Practice Management systems, with a working knowledge of finance system integration and automation. Immediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong commercial acumen, business judgement and excellent analytical skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Why Urbis?
