Job DescriptionManaging 1 x CA Qualified Accountant, whilst leading and delivering on company specific finance initiatives and projects in line with company visionJoint venture accountingPrepare consolidated monthly financial statements and provide commentaryPrepare monthly board reportsComplete half and full year statutory requirementsBuild, modify and maintain accounting modelsPrepare monthly forecasts, budgets and five year plansProvide technical accounting advice in line with accounting standards and governance to mitigate financial and operational riskThe Successful ApplicantA successful FP&A/Accounting Lead should have:A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCA QualifiedBig 4/Mid Tier Audit trainedRelevant commercial experience in the mining/natural resources sector, ideally in an FP&A or Business Partner roleProven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectivelyStrong knowledge of accounting legislation and standardsExcellent analytical and strategic planning skillsOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsWhat's on OfferA competitive salary packageA diverse and inclusive workplace cultureOpportunities for professional development and career progressionLeadership opportunities
