Forklift Operator

One of the largest Australian owned manufacturers of poultry products based in Tamworth is seeking experienced Forklift operators.
Duties Set up and test machinery as required based on SOPs to ensure everything is in order.
Operate forklift to site standards and procedures.
Clean the machine as required and complete production activities.
Insert all production materials as required to achieve optimal production output.
Troubleshoot machine problems to determine actual faults and fix, if safe to do so.
Strictly adhere to customer's product specifications to ensure good quality work.
Accurately record quality, material, and manufacturing information.
Skills/Experience as a Minimum for the Above Roles Previous experience operating machinery in a food factory is highly desirable.
Valid Australian forklift ticket.
Problem-solving skills.
Good time management.
Proven experience with programming, setting, and troubleshooting.
Sound experience in production practices in a manufacturing environment.
Sound technical skills and ability to fix/recognize problems with machinery.
Food Processing certificate would be favorable.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Full working rights to work a minimum of 38 hours a week ongoing.
Comfortable working with meat products and able to lift up to 20 KG.
