Forensic Accounting Manager One of our clients is looking for a Forensic Accounting Manager based in Brisbane. In addition to being an integral part of their team, you'll have the opportunity to lead a team and have a significant impact on the wider business by consulting clients and creating expert reports.
The position is responsible for providing forensic accounting and investigation services, assisting with complex financial matters to provide advice and reports across a varied portfolio of assignments within the Forensic Accounting business. The position is also responsible for business development and leadership within the forensics team.
Qualifications you'll need: 5+ years experience with litigation support, expert witness engagements, business valuation, and/or forensic accounting assignments generallyBusiness/accounting-related degree, CA or CPA qualifiedSpecializations in fraud examination, forensic accounting, business valuations, data analysis, or information technology will be viewed favorably.Experience with Relativity, Tableau, or similar applications is desirableTechnical expertise in litigation support, expert witness engagements, business valuation, and/or forensic accounting assignments generallyAdvanced financial modeling skills, practice management, people leadership and team, business development, client relationships, concern for quality and standards, excellent organizational skills, and problem-solving skillsProficient in MS Office suite with excel financial modeling skills, flexibility, and attention to detailWhat You'll do: Control of a wide variety of forensic accounting services with minimal supervisionLiaison and communication with partners on all material issues arising in client assignmentsLiaising with clients, legal representatives, other professionals, and various organizations at all levelsPromoting the firm and its partners to secure referrals and assignments for the practiceReviewing reports to clientsAttending marketing meetings with selected contacts as required.Active participation in meetings with clients, instructing solicitors and other experts as applicable.Generally, maintain the affairs of several corporate insolvent clients to ensure that all statutory obligations are met, the assets are recovered, and investigations and reporting requirements are completed in a timely and professional manner.Supervision of staff in the performance of their duties and reviewed work papers and filesRegular review of staff performance and productivityManaging workflow and resource allocation to ensure completion of assignments within time and cost budgets.If you are ready for a change and are passionate about solving problems and imaginative in your approach, we want to talk to you.
