This role will see you involved in a variety of kitchen and hospitality tasks including food preparation, delivery and customer service.
There is also the opportunity to work in the environmental services department.
As a Food Service Assistant your responsibilities will include: · Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly · Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays · Assist in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils including dish and pot washing as required.
· Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture.
· Provide high standard of customer service · Operate in line with WHS policy & procedures · Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients · Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development Essential Criteria: · Proven previous food services experience in Healthcare, Aged care, Hotels, or similar · Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements · Hold a valid NSW Working with Children check · Commitment to service excellence.
