JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa is looking for enthusiastic Food & Beverage Supervisor join our fantastic In Room Dining team on a full time basis for a period of 6 months.
About the role The In Room Dining Supervisor will report to the Restaurant & In Room Dining Manager and is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day running of In Room Dining with a focus on effective team communication to enhance the customer experience.
Critical responsibilities: Ensure staff is working together as a team to ensure optimum service and that guest needs are met.
Inspect grooming and attire of staff, and rectify any deficiencies.
Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
Inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness.
Display hands on leadership and lead by example Be organised and understand room movements, amenity lists, and other daily priorities to ensure a seamless operation.
Communicate effectively with the team so they can perform at their best Ensure Talent are working together collaboratively to meet and anticipate guests needs Complete scheduled inventories and stock and requisition necessary supplies Champion brand standards to ensure consistency, quality, and luxury service is delivered to all our guests Develop and maintain positive working relationships and identify training needs of the team so they too can develop.
