Business guests are well catered for at Mercure Perth with 6 modern meeting rooms available, accommodating up to 350 delegates.Job DescriptionAs a Breakfast Team Leader at Mercure Perth, you will ensure exceptional guest experiences during breakfast service. We are looking for a passionate, guest-obsessed individual with a strong background in food and beverage service, particularly in conference and event settings. This role is perfect for someone who thinks outside the box and aims to make our breakfast service the heart of our hotel.In this role, you will:Lead the breakfast team in event set-up and break-down, ensuring smooth service across dining areas.Warmly welcome guests to our breakfast outlets, providing attentive and friendly service.Understand menu content, seasonal changes, and promotional activities, ensuring staff are informed and guests are well served.Manage the proper settlement of all customer accounts using our POS system.Oversee basic beverage preparation and assist with barista or bartender duties as needed.Provide consistent and high-quality service, setting the standard for the team.Actively promote Mercure Perth and assist in implementing strategies to drive revenue during breakfast service.Bring flair, passion, and charisma to every shift, inspiring your team to do the same.Encourage and implement new ideas and improvements within the breakfast service.Maintain high standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation.Promote a safe workplace by recognizing hazards and adhering to WHS practices.Collaborate with other outlets as required.QualificationsResponsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.Strong entrepreneurial spirit and drive for food and beverage operations.Experience in setting up, servicing, and breaking down events.Flexibility in work availability is essential, as we operate 7 days a week, including public holidays and weekends.Additional InformationOur commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:We are an inclusive company, and our ambition is to attract, recruit, and promote diverse talent.What is in it for you:Employee benefit card offering discounted rates at Accor worldwide.Learning programs through our Academies.Opportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world!Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities.
