Our clients are the owners and operators of assets that are critical to our local communities. In partnership with the Australian Defence Force, Ventia are currently seeking a Food and Beverage Team Leader to join the team at the Puckapunyal Defence Base located near Seymour on a full-time basis.
As a Food and Beverage Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the teams day-to-day Mess and Bar operations, and associated front of house personnel, to ensure efficient service delivery and exceptional customer experiences.
Duties and responsibilities: Work closely with the Mess Committee to ensure hospitality and catering requirements are understood and service standards are consistently met.Consistently delivering a friendly, helpful, and professional service to all customers.Coordinate staff, ensuring adequate support is provided for all service periods.Regularly inspect all Mess areas, ensuring they are maintained, clean and presentable.Prepare end of month reports – stocktakesWhat's in it for you: Ongoing training and developmentWhat you'll need to be successful: Relevant experience in the food and beverage industryResponsible Service of Alcohol certificationFood Safety for Supervisors certification (training provided by employer)Enthusiasm and commitment to high standards of customer service.You must be an Australian Citizen and can maintain a Defence clearance to be eligible for these positions, as well as be able to pass an Australian Federal Police Check.
