About the role We are seeking a food and beverage industry professional who can deliver a 5-star service to our guests whilst simultaneously offer support and training to your team. Reporting to the Director of Food and Beverage or the Outlet Manager, you will be involved in overseeing operations of our food and beverage outlets including Conference & Events, ensuring standard operating procedures are trained and followed whilst also being able to identify areas of improvement within the operations of the department. You will be required to work across multiple outlets within the hotel. This is a full-time role; you will be required to work a rotating roster which will include weekends and public holidays. About you Excellent customer relations, problem solving, decision making and time management skills. Previous experience in a food and beverage role, preferably within a luxury hotel environment. Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to communicate effectively with the Director of Food and Beverage and other hotel departments. Ensuring sufficient staff coverage while staying within staffing budget. Highly developed organisational skills and able to thrive under pressure. Proven ability to provide and to coach staff to deliver exceptional standard of service, while exceeding the guests' expectations and minimising guest complaints. Excellent leadership skills to engage, motivate and train your team. Must be eligible to work in Australia.
