Allygroup is seeking a senior FOI practitioner (APS6/EL1 equivalent) to support the Information Law team at a high-profile Federal Government Department. This is a secondment opportunity for an initial three month period with a possibility of two 3-month extensions.This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a team of highly skilled professionals and contribute to diverse, multi-disciplinary projects. While full-time employment is preferred, part-time arrangements (minimum of 4 days per week) will be considered for the ideal candidate. A baseline security clearance is required for this position.The Secondee will be required to perform all the functions necessary for managing a request made under the Freedom of Information Act 1982, including but not limited to:drafting emailsdrafting internal noticesinterpreting the scope of requestsdrafting consultation noticesreviewing documents and preparing draft redactions based on instructions from the decision makerdrafting access decisionscontributing to weekly reportingcontributing to team meetingsassisting with briefing and other reporting, and if required assisting with Information Commissioner submissions or responsesWhat Allygroup Offers:At Allygroup, we believe work should empower and inspire you.
