Rex is seeking expressions of interest from dedicated individuals to join our team as full-time solo flight attendants based in Wagga Wagga. We are looking for people who are:
Independent and self-reliant: As solo Flight Attendants, you will be responsible for managing the entire cabin independently, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the flight. Customer-focused: As a solo Flight Attendant, you will manage your own cabin and have the opportunity to provide a caring and personalised service while travelling to some of Australia's most unique destinations. Detail-oriented and safety-conscious: You will need to manage in-flight services while maintaining a high standard of safety and compliance with aviation regulations. The role offers a great work/life balance along with competitive remuneration and includes working on weekends, public holidays, shift work (which includes early starts & late finishes), and some nights spent away from home.
Some of the duties you will perform include equipment/security checks, in-flight announcements, in-flight food & beverage service, cleaning duties, as well as handling various situations that may occur in the cabin, on your own.

To meet requirements, you must: Be 18 years of age or over Have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency Be no taller than 173 cm Hold a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate Be able to demonstrate that you have: Completed a minimum of 3 years of secondary education in Australia or New Zealand, or Worked in Australia or New Zealand for at least 3 of the last 5 years, or Worked in the UK, Ireland, or USA for at least 3 of the last 5 years, or Completed the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall grade of 5.5. Be able to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC), which involves a police security check Have experience in customer service Be able to swim fully clothed without aid or floating device (a swim assessment is required) Be flexible; working hours will vary and include working during holiday times and peak periods Have a high level of personal presentation Have a natural willingness to please and care for people Extensive training will be provided – flying experience is not required.
