The Opportunity: Based at the workshop in Mackay, we are currently seeking skilled Diesel Fitters to provide mechanical and electrical technical maintenance to Komatsu machinery and equipment whilst ensuring a high level of customer service.

An excellent understanding and commitment to Safety Must have a working knowledge local and mine specific, Environment, OH&S, and Industrial legislation.
Ability to analyse technical problems and suggest remedies.
Ability to read and understand Electrical and Mechanical Drawings Ability to work safely under pressure and meet deadlines.
Current drivers licence Previous experience with Komatsu equipment including Electrical Drive Off Highway Trucks Sound Trouble Shooting Skills Previous exposure to KAL Maintenance and Operational Policies Qualification/s Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter or equivalent.
HRWL Forklift (mandatory) and Doggers licence (desirable but not necessary).
