Vacupack is a fast-growing packaging manufacturer that has its products in all isles of the supermarket shelves. We design and produce customised packaging solutions for customers including some of the largest food producers in the world and they like working with leaders and innovators.
Vacupack is currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Fitter to join their Moorabbin site.
Duties And Responsibilities Will Include
Accurately read and interpret drawings and specifications. Operate machines to produce parts by turning, boring, milling, shaping, slotting, grinding, or drilling metal stock or components. Assemble and install packaging machinery and equipment. Ensure proper alignment and calibration of machines for accurate and efficient production. Conduct routine equipment maintenance, repair, upgrades, and installations. Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, repairing or replacing faulty components as needed. Replace worn or damaged parts and components, such as belts, bearings, gears, and sensors. Implement modifications or upgrades to improve machine performance or efficiency. Perform scheduled inspections and condition assessment on machines. Plate Profiling, Machining and Lathe jobs Order/fabricate with accuracy and assemble metal parts. Maintaining appropriate stock levels of spare parts Complete tasks to high quality while working to a deadline.
Skills And Experience
Relevant trade qualification At least 2 years work experience Have a strong adherence OH&S and in keeping as safe workplace. Willing to follow detail instructions to and quick Learner. Be able to perform the physical requirements of the role.
