About the role
* Service, repair and maintain firefighting and emergency vehicles, specialist equipment such as aerial appliances, pumping systems, foam induction metering systems, OEM cab Chassis and hand-held firefighting equipment.
* Provide technical advice and training to firefighters to ensure the safety of staff and the community.
* Diagnose faults, including electrical for fleet repair and maintenance, including the use of electronic diagnostic equipment.
