The Position:
The position of Financial Reporting and Tax Manager or Assistant Manager is responsible for the oversight and delivery of reporting requirements and tax compliance as mandated for client portfolios.
The team provides critical information in a timely, complete and accurate manner, including the following:
Processing and monthly tasks
Review and final sign-off of AASB financial reporting Delivery of business activity statements, distribution calculations and tax returns for the funds Escalation point for upstream and downstream teams, leading the process to work through issues with relevant parties, including developing training plans/documentation for any gaps that are discovered in the process to prevent reoccurrence.
Overall responsibility for the end-to-end process to meet your deliverables and building relationships with both upstream and downstream teams (onshore and offshore) Responsible for the risk and control framework being followed during the daily deliverable review and by conducting regular reviews of Fund Accounting procedures and processes and MCA tests.
Including all appropriate documentation is saved and checklists being completed.
Drive process improvement Provide support for all necessary governance reporting.
Qualifications:

Tertiary qualification in Accounting ideal CPA/CA qualified ideal Experience and knowledge:
