Financial Controller

About the RoleOur client is an established, volume-residential builder located in South-west Sydney with a reputation for building quality homes. Currently building around 300+ homes per year, they have plenty of work in the pipeline for years to come.As the Financial Controller for this busy Residential Homes business, you will report directly to the company Director & wider management team and manage a small team of finance administrators. You will also have the opportunity to be an integral part of the executive team and provide financial insights to key stakeholders.Report and maintenance of: Cashflow, WIP spreadsheet, Business Summary, P&L, Balance sheet, End of project review, business performance - budget vs actual etc.Business forecasting and budgetingBAS and Tax AccountingLiaise with external accounts, solicitors, auditors and insurance providersAnnual review and maintenance of business contractsOversee & manage a small teamHome owners warranty, iCare, insurancesAbout YouSubstantial experience within a Senior Finance or Finance Manager positionMUST have experience working in a construction business, with residential preferredTertiary qualificationsCPA Qualification preferredProven experience liaising with internal and external stakeholdersExceptional communication skillsDATABUILD, MYOBRemuneration & BenefitsA remuneration package upwards of $150-$160K + superannuationModern offices with a fantastic workplace cultureOnsite ParkingGreat team & working cultureFor any questions relating to this role or other opportunities with D&B and our clients please contact Kim Castueras on 0423 927 536 or click apply.
