Financial Controller position within a market leader in the manufacturing sectorConvenient Western Sydney location with flexible working arrangements (WFH)About Our ClientMy client is a growing manufacturing organisation with a turnover of circa $25M locally, committed to producing high-quality products and delivering exceptional service. They are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their team and lead their small finance team. As a key partner to operations, you will actively collaborate with them to drive performance and innovation.Job DescriptionReporting to the General Manager, as the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in leading the finance function and supporting the business during a period of growth and expansion. You will work closely with the senior leadership team to provide strategic financial insights while managing the day-to-day accounting and finance operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, small business environment.Other key responsibilities will include the following: Oversee all aspects of the financial operations including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Provide financial analysis to support business decision-making and drive growth Manage month-end and year-end processes including reconciliations and financial statement preparation Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including tax and audit preparation Business partnering with operations to ensure financial goals are met Support the development of the annual budget and long-term financial planning Lead and mentor a small finance team The Successful Applicant CA/CPA qualified with previous experience working in a similar hands-on Financial Controller position within the manufacturing industry Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional operational teams Previous ERP experience and advanced MS Excel skills Experience in small-to-medium-sized businesses is an advantage What's on Offer A collaborative and supportive team environment Opportunity to make a real impact on the business during a period of growth Competitive salary package on offer Career development and progression opportunities
