We're now on the lookout for a Financial Controller to take ownership of the financial, management and compliance reporting functions of the consolidated GBST group. You will also be responsible for leading our Finance systems, processes and internal controls.
As an experienced Leader, you will be skilled at inspiring your team, driving process improvement and delivering accurate and timely financial reporting. Your role will provide you with the opportunity to exercise your exceptional relationship management skills while working with a variety of stakeholders including Directors, Executive Auditors and external agencies.

What U will do: Lead and coach your team to deliver high quality outcomes.Manage the month end process, producing Management and Board reporting packs for the consolidated Group and Divisional businesses including variance analysis and insightful commentary.Prepare financial statements for AU and UK in accordance with global Accounting Standards.Partner with the business to evaluate, interpret and integrate financial information to improve management and cost control of their business units.Identify opportunities to maximise revenue and reduce costs by understanding business drivers.Provide expertise on reporting and analytics and best practice of use of data regarding business decisions.Manage and direct transactional functions covering global billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll.Desired Skills and ExperienceU will be someone with: 5+ years post CA/CPA qualified, tax experience highly regarded.Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt.Demonstrated skills in leading and coaching teams.High attention to detail.Strong organisational and communication skills.Proven experience in transaction processing, financial control and systems administration.If you're looking for a role where you can be a part of exciting innovation - we want to hear from you!
