They are seeking a high calibre Financial Services External Audit Manager or Senior Manager to join their Finance team in this end-to-end Finance Manager role. Description
Responsibilities include:
Ensure the timely completion of month-end close and daily balance sheet reconciliationsPrepare year-end & half-year financial statementsConsolidation of monthly, half-year and year-end reportingWork closely with various AASB standards and accounting policyManage relationship with external auditors for the Lending divisionResearch and preparation of the division's technical accounting papers, including credit losses and revenuePreparation of subsidiary accounts for the mortgage lending businessPartner with the Financial Planning & Analysis team to review, analyse and provide commentary of the division's statutory and management resultsProfile

The successful candidate must be:
CA qualified5+ years Financial Services External Audit experience working in a BIG 4 Professional Services CA FirmExperience working closely with various AASB standardsExperience working with technical Accounting Policy will be highly regardedLeadership experience, confidence and the ability to hold your own when liaising with senior stakeholdersDetail-oriented, hands-on approach, can-do attitude, excellent verbal and written communication skillsEnjoys working in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environmentAbility to work in an agile, fast-paced environmentIntermediate Excel skills (ability to build pivots, v-lookups and complex formulas)Job Offer
This is a permanent role and the salary on offer is $140k to $160k base + super + bonus potential.
