Financial Accountant/Senior Financial Accountant

About Our Client Our client has been established for close to 15 years and has a major presence in the retail industry locally and globally operating across more than 30 countries. They have no plans on slowing down and due to continued growth they are looking to hire a Financial or Senior Financial Accountant to support the Group Financial Controller with the financial reporting, compliance, and governance of the Group to ensure the long-term integrity of its financial position.

This position will be highly suitable for candidates looking for an opportunity straight from Big 4/Mid Tier. Those with some additional Retail experience are also highly sought after.
Job Description Reporting to and assisting the Group Financial Controller, your duties will include but not be limited to:
Preparation of Full Year and Half year financial reporting for the ASX listed parent companyPreparation and lodgement of all statutory financial statements and tax returnsForecasting and day to day management of Group cash flow and currency requirementsManagement of the Group insurance programManagement of all company secretarial requirements of Group subsidiary companies alongside external advisorsAssist with applications for and compliance with store licensing requirements Month end accounting for accruals and prepaymentsPreparation and/or review of GL reconciliations The Successful Applicant To be successful in this position, you will have the following attributes:
