Council is excited to present a permanent full-time opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant.
This opportunity has become available due to an internal movement and is part of a collaborative team that values accountability, teamwork, community, potential, and positivity.
We are now looking to appoint a qualified, professional Accountant to join Council's accounting team.This position will act as a business partner to the wider organisation, providing accounting support on a broad range of financial activities.
Candidates will have experience with financial statements and preparation of supporting documentation, and have working knowledge of financial audit functions, Australian Accounting Standards, and relevant legislation.The successful candidate will hold a tertiary qualification and have an understanding of accounting principles, along with demonstrable communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
