About the Opportunity This role is an 18-month contract to cover parental leave.
The Finance Manager - Treasury & External Reporting role manages ASC's corporate treasury function.
By working with key stakeholders including senior management, banks, and internal departments (AR, AP, Payroll and IT), the role ensures the function aligns with company expectations and deliverables.
The role is also responsible for preparing ASC's external financial reporting.
By understanding the needs of users of financial information, this role strives for best practice to deliver high-quality financial reporting complying with accounting standards and regulations.
Responsibilities Management of banking relationships, treasury systems governance and compliance, group cash flows and financial investments.
Management of external financial reporting, external audit compliance and GBE reporting requirements.
Maintains knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements including changes and the impacts to ASC.
Be a leader in an environment that aims for continuous improvement across tools, systems, processes and work methods.
Support digital transformation for the benefits of Corporate Finance and the business into the future.
Identify and analyse changing trends and opportunities relevant to Treasury and External Financial Reporting.
Work with the Head of and provide inputs to Executive, Board and Shareholder level reports, providing information and analysis to aid financial decision making.
Manage and safeguard the company's financial interests by ensuring conformity with all finance compliance requirements.
About you  Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Accounting.
Full professional membership in CA ANZ, CPA or equivalent accounting qualification with significant post-membership experience.
Proven and successful experience in a similar managerial role in a corporate environment.
Demonstrated expertise in preparing statutory reporting deliverables.
International statutory reporting experience an advantage.
Ability to understand, analyse and communicate financial results.
Experience with processes and governance in a corporate environment.
Driven to create an environment of continuous improvement in a high-growth and evolving business.
Eligibility This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to a Baseline level.
Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
