The opportunity An exciting new opportunity to join our AusPac Financial Planning team. In this role you will focus on the Financial Reporting for the division, working to optimize existing processes to produce high quality, fit-for-purpose reports.

Your new role Oversee the preparation and presentation of timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial reporting with business objectives.
Lead the development and enhancement of reporting processes, systems, and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, providing actionable insights to senior management.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
Manage the year-end audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring all financial documentation is accurate and complete.
About you The successful candidate will have significant experience within a similar Finance Manager role with a solid background in the Financial Services or Insurance Industry. You will have extensive Finance Partnering experience and you will also have:

Excellent technical accounting knowledge – AGAAP/IFRS with a focus on standards relevant to QBE's business.
Strong technical skills enabling analysis of requirements, and commercial and practical application.
Strong project management and planning capabilities to coordinate the review of existing reporting processes.
Proven experience of dealing with people at all levels in the organisation, strong stakeholder management experience and the ability to negotiate, persuade and influence.
