Overview of the role This is a very dynamic role where you will be an integral part of the leadership team who influence and drive the overall property strategy for Real Estate covering both commercial and industrial. The role is also diverse allowing you to gain insight across all aspects of Real Estate eg capital works projects, leasing, workplace, sustainability and operational (facility management, fleet etc).
Specifically, the Analytics Manager is accountable for leading a team of outsourced service provider finance specialists to manage our premises' operational budget. 
You will provide business analysis and advice across the real estate premises portfolio to ensure Real Estate is meeting its objectives - to provide cost effective accommodation solutions aligned with the Group's vision, - with particular focus on financial budgeting, forecasting and Data Governance.
Initially a 12-month fixed term contract, it is highly likely that this will become a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
What you'll do: Budgeting and Forecasting:Coordinate the planning process for Real Estate including 3-year forecast and budget planAssist in the preparation of business case analysis to support investment in identified workplace initiativesArticulate total commitment, P&L impact vs (budget, base case and options) for all major projects/initiatives (strategic and non-strategic)Oversee premises cost allocation model and oversight of Capital Works BudgetFinancial Performance Management:Ensure the Procurement & Real Estate business strategy and priorities are clearly documentedAssess progress against financial and operational targets and highlight performance opportunities, risks and areas for improvementManage reporting which highlights performance against key performance measures and financial and operational targets.Manage Data governance systems and processes for Real Estate ensuring that the EGM Procurement & Real Estate and the RE Leadership Team are provided with the insight, data and analysis to assist in decision-makingPartnership and Relationship Management including working with the Real Estate (RE) Service Provider (SP), the Real Estate leadership team (LT) and Technology & Operations Finance to ensure open communication, clear deliverables and timelines and responsibilities are maintainedWhat you'll bring: Minimum 7 years' experience in financial management, ideally CPA/ACA qualifiedPrevious experience in the Real Estate or Property industryStrong corporate operational knowledge of a commercial real estate divisionHighly experienced in leading and managing large teams with strong stakeholder management skills at all levels of an organisationAbility to measure and evaluate the business and performance impact of real estate solutionsStrong modelling and forecasting skillsFlexible and collaborative work styleWhat we can offer you: Discounts and offers on a range of retail favourite stores as well as insurance products.A range of flexible working and leave options, including 20 weeks paid parental leave and unlimited paid emergency response leave.Invest in your brighter future with ongoing study support and career development programs.Give back to our communities with payroll giving, donation matching and paid volunteer leave.Prioritise your work/life balance with our robust employee assistance program and dedicated employee council.About Suncorp Group: We're proud to be a part of the Suncorp Group family alongside some of Australia's most trusted and diverse names in banking.
