Reputable not-for-profit seeking a hands-on Finance Manager. Flexible WFH arrangement with a requirement of 2 days in the office.MARS Recruitment is thrilled to partner with a not-for-profit organisation in their search for a Finance Manager. In this role, you will manage the month-end process, including the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, financial statements, management reports, and board reports. Additionally, you will oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness. As the key finance contact, you will manage all finance-related matters, including collaborating with the CEO on ad-hoc finance projects.This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Finance Manager with a proven track record in leadership and financial management.Responsibilities:Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Ensure compliance with all regulatory and financial reporting requirements.Oversee the month-end close process, including the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Monitor and analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insightful recommendations.Manage accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.Ensure payroll is processed in a timely manner.Take a proactive and hands-on approach to resolving finance matters that arise within the team and across the business.Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and implement new ones, serving as a key influencer.Requirements:8+ years' experience in financial accountingCA/CPA/ACCA qualifiedBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or CommerceStrong technical accounting knowledgeExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skillsTo Note:Work office arrangements: 2 days in the office.Only Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered at this time.If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply to the role directly with your resume (Word format) and cover letter.
