We are renowned for being one of the largest producers of precast concrete in Australia! With our operations now expanding across QLD, NSW, VIC, WA, and SA across 26 manufacturing sites.We are looking for a consummate finance professional with the role working across both QLD and NSW; therefore, the role can be based in either Brisbane or Sydney depending on the successful applicant's chosen location.Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will work closely with the Group Finance team, both the QLD and NSW State Managers and their leadership teams and be focused on the following primary tasks and responsibilities:Monitoring and enhancing relevant financial, operational and business KPI's at a branch, state and region level to support continued business growth.Work closely with our branch / operating teams to highlight and report on any significant issues affecting anticipated overall Branch performance, production and sales against budgets.Provide analysis of business performance and operational improvement opportunities.Inventory management - monitor and maintain accurate inventory data and ratios in conjunction with relevant operating teams.Assist in the development and ongoing review of product pricing matrices.Forecasting of business performance (weekly, monthly and quarterly).Ongoing review of business cost structure (both overhead and manufacturing) regarding trading activity and market conditions.Prepare reporting on sales and production compared against weekly budgets for product sales and production.Assist with preparation of end of year financial / management reporting information.Assist with annual external audit.ProfileThe ideal applicant will have the ability to work autonomously yet thrive when working within a driven and developing team.You will have demonstrated experience in a finance / business partner role in manufacturing or like-minded organisation.You are an active leader with a strong work ethic who is practical and action-oriented.Experience with multi-site operations would be an advantage.Advanced analytical skills, ideally leveraging your strong Excel skills and have an understanding of Power BI as well as other Accounting Business Software.Ability to interact with all levels of staff, management, internal and external customers.Ability to and experience in leading high performing and growing teams.High level of professionalism and leadership.High level attention to detail and organisational skills.Ability to multitask and work to deadlines.Qualifications required are Chartered Accountant/CPA.Experience in a manufacturing industry or like-minded industry is preferred.A minimum of 10 years experience in a high level financial management role is required.Please provide a copy of your current CV and cover letter outlining your suitability and alignment to the role.
